“For me it’s all about a primo burger…” – Reuben Poutch

Fill the Gap Kitchen

Reuben Poutch and Noel Healy have been a part of the local food scene in north Wicklow for a while now; Reuben cut his teeth on the festival and farmer’s market circuit before docking at the world famous Harbour Bar, Bray as Big Dog Burgers. Noel developed his passion for food as part of the young up and coming crew in The Happy Pear, Greystones.

In the last year the dudes jointly took over the kitchen in The Wild Goose Gastro Pub, Bray, needless to say it’s awesomenessmaximus.

Now they’ve teamed up with The GAP and opened Fill the GAP Kitchen. The boys are all about putting a stomping quality meal in front of their customers and now they’re catering for the ever hungry mountain bikers and hikers in Glencullen. Reuben sums it up nicely; “For me it’s all about a primo burger, something I’d want to eat meself after a day on the mountain” so that’s what they do: hand-formed fresh beef burgers cooked to perfection with no additives alongside their amazing homemade Jerk marinated chicken, there’s even a veggie option, see d’auld menu for det’s.
